Condition Assessment Task Management

This section demonstrates how to create and assign "Condition Assessment" tasks.

Tasks are created for each logical predictive maintenance route or grouping to be completed on defined Tango Asset Components.

An assigned user associated with each task is responsible for ensuring completion, reporting and follow-up of the task.

1) In the "Tango Location Tree" in the left hand workspace, locate "Services" and click the "+" to expand that item.

 a) Locate "Condition Assessment Services" and click the"+" to expand this item.

 b) Double click on "Condition Assessment Task Control Panel".

  i) "Open Assignments" opens by default in "Control Assessment Task Control Panel" .

  ii) Pertinent information about all open assignments is immediately available, including if an assignment is new or a reassignment.

  iii) option is available only to users with admin privileges.


2) To add a task:

a.) Click on the "Task Definitions & Location Selection" tab. Select "Add New".


b.) An Add New Task Pop-up Window will appear, Edit the proper fields (details below).



1.) Click in the "Task Names" box. Type name of task to be assigned.

2.) Click the drop-down arrow in the "Technology" row. Select applicable technology.

3.) Click in the "Next Due Date" box. A calendar with the current month drops down. Select the date the task should be completed.

4.) Click in the "Interval" box. Enter the time interval, in days, which will elapse between when an old task is completed and a new task is due.

5.) Click the drop-down arrow in the "Assigned User" row. Select applicable user.

6.) Set the number of days the task will have to be completed.

7.) Input the * "Plant Notification Email", ensure the "Is Active" (Item 9) box is selected by clicking in the box and assign an "Alias Type associated with Locations" (Item 10), if applicable, by clicking on the drop-down box and selecting the correct alias type from the list provided.

11.) To Setup a Task for Hand-held Routes, be sure to check the box by "Setup for Hand-Held Route"


*Note: The "Plant Notification Email" address is not the Assigned User email. The "Plant Notification Email" is for other plant personnel that need to know when a task is pending; multiple email addresses can be input in this field. Analyst email notification is addressed below in section on "Email Notifications".

c.) Once all the available fields are complete, click "Save".
